Our Business Bereavement is a distressing and bewildering time, and our first duty is to provide a professional and sympathetic service. Our second duty is to offer guidance in dealing with all the formalities and arrangements that may be required. Any one of our staff is on duty 24 hours a day, every day of the year, to assist with your enquiries, and our excellent facilites are available on request.
Our History The business has been established for over 100 years, and was formerly owned by W T Matthias. It was taken over some 40 years ago, by Roy Folland who then purchased the neighbouring property, which now forms part of the Chapel of Rest. With a second generation member already on the staff, the business will continue to provide an excellent service to the Pembrokeshire community for many years to come. The building itself is very old, and has been a place of spiritual comfort for many years. The first floor of the property was once used as a Chapel of Ease by the parishoners of Uzmaston, and until quite recently contained the harmonium and original pulpit, but unfortunately both were in a state of disrepair.

Our Staff
	Roy Folland was born and raised in Hook. In the early 1960's, he and his wife June moved to Haverfordwest, where he learnt his undertaking skills under the watchful eye of Mr W T Matthias - Funeral Director. Roy is a Freeman of Pembroke and is the Master of that Gild. Although no longer a Member of the County Council Roy continues to serve his local community. " I get tremendous satisfaction from helping people, and have always considered it a privilege to serve the community. The desire 'to serve' is key to this business, and an integral part of my life."
	Robin Folland, born and bred in Haverfordwest. He joined his father's firm straight from school, and continues to uphold the family tradition of service to the community. Robin has one son Niall and a daughter Nancy. "The best part of this job is being able to be supportive to the bereaved family, at a time when they need it the most. I feel honoured to be able to help people in a difficult and emotional situation. "
	Richard Pullin is married to Roy's daughter, Julie. Born in Sussex, he moved to Fishguard, in the 1970's, and then to Haverfordwest in the 1980's. He joined the business in 1990, and has the responsibility of ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business. "When I first accepted the job as the Business Manager, little did I realise just how absorbing and fullfilling it would become. The ethos of 'service' is applied with diligence, at all levels of this business."
